Research Summary
Data driven modeling and machine learning has a tremendous impact in scientific applications. Our research focus is on developing and applying data-driven computational tools and techniques that help with the understanding and analysis of scientific data. Specifically, we are interested in tackling the problem of model reduction and dimensionality reduction. The methods that we work with are supervised dimensionality reduction methods, dynamic model decomposition and Koopman decompositions. The applications of interests are static and dynamical systems in materials and fluids.
