Lawrence Grimaldi, M.S.
Biographical Information
Larry Grimaldi holds a B.A. in Mathematics from St. Michael's College in Vermont, and a M.S. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics from S.U.N.Y at Stony Brook, NY. After a short tour of duty in the Air Force as an Orbital Analyst assigned to the Space Surveillance Center in the Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Larry joined the MITRE Corporation. At MITRE he is currently a Principal System Engineer supporting the AF in their acquisition of the JSpOC Mission System (JMS), which will replace the existing Space Situational Awareness (SSA) capability.
Over his career, Larry has served as Project Lead for the following U.S. Air Force projects: the Space Defense Operations Center (SPADOC); Cheyenne Mountain Upgrade (CMU); and the Combatant Commanders Integrated C2 System (CCIC2S) acquisitions. He has also supported the National Security Space Institute (NSSI), in Colorado Springs, as an instructor and has designed course curriculum for the advanced Space Professional courses.
