As an undergraduate student, you may have the option to apply undergraduate credits to your graduate program- allowing you to graduate in less time than the traditional path.

Customize Your Degree

Within the 30 required credit hours for the MSCS program, students have the option to choose from (2) distinct paths within the program: 

  • Plan I: Requires a research-based thesis worth (6) semester credit hours
  • Plan II: Requires a project worth (3) semester credit hours

The MSCS program's coursework focuses on providing students with an extensive scope of knowledge of computer science, covering a variety of fundamental areas, including:

  • Preparing students to perform independent research
  • Providing students with an understanding of the advanced computer science tools and concepts
