Zanyar Zohourianshahzadi

Dr. Zanyar Zohourianshahzadi has achieved his Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Originally from Tehran, he received his bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Science and Master's degree in Information Technology. He is passionate about teaching computer science courses and research related to Artificial Intelligence. Most notably, his research is focused on the use and improvement of attention mechanisms in transformer models for the task on image captioning that bridges the gap between computer vision and natural language processing. He is also an athlete and passionate about snowboarding and has a huge amount of love for mountains and our state of Colorado.
