Biographical Sketch
Dr. Semwal received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Roorkee, India, his Master of Science degree in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, Canada, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida. He joined the UCCS Computer Science Department in 1987 as an Assistant Professor, became an Associate Professor in 1994 and Professor in August of 2000. Dr. Semwal's main areas of interest are computer graphics, wearable computing and virtual reality, computer-human interaction, medical applications, human animation and avatars, and volume Rendering and Visualization, Realistic Images, Ray Tracing, computational geometry.
