Neuronal Sugihara Causation Networks & neuroClustering from Rory Lewis PhD JD on Vimeo.

Interests

Prof. Lewis' professional goal is to be an outstanding contributor to creating intelligent machines that predict events in the human brain and recode themselves, without human intervention, to become eventually very smart. Secondly, to make such tools ubiquitous in the neuro ICU wards.

Outside of academia, Kera and Prof. Lewis enjoy telemark skiing, cross-country skiing and participating in triathlons, marathons, road cycling races and mountain bike races

Academic

Prof. Lewis received a B.S. in Computer & Electrical Engineering in 1993 from Syracuse University. In 1996, he received his J.D in Law form the Syracuse University College of Law. After working in law, litigating microprocessor electrical engineering intellectual property inherrent in microprocessors, such as Intel. v. AMD, Prof. Lewis transitioned back into academia over 2002 - 2004. In 2008 he received his PhD in Computer Science at the University North Carolina at Charlotte.
