Parul Parag Patel is an Instructor in the Department of ECE at UCCS. She obtained her Master’s in Electrical Engineering in 2012 from India. Her areas of interests include, Microcontrollers & Microprocessors, Logic Circuits, Circuits & Systems, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Machines, MEMS, Industrial Drives and Renewable Energy Sources. Prior to joining the faculty at UCCS, Parul was a Lecturer in Electrical & Electronics Engineering departments at various institutes in India for more than 8 years.

• MS: Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering with specialization in “Computer Application in Industrial Drives”, completed in August 2012, from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India.
• BS: Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, completed in June 2000, from Gujarat University, India.
• PhD: Pursuing Doctorate in Power Electronics (Dissertation: “Design & Implementation of High Performance Hybrid Cascaded Multilevel Inverters for Induction Motor Drives”) from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India. Started in October 2013, but presently on hold because of international relocation
